Richard Awni founded Family First Foundation in 2000. He is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse skill set and an impressive track record. As a patent holder and experienced international licensing and HR recruiter for MOFA Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Richard has extensive experience in technology and product management, having served as a senior executive at Electra-Tech Mnfg and AT&T Product Rollout manager.
Richard's passion for community service was instilled in him at an early age by his exceptional parents, who taught him the value of giving back to others. Over the course of his career, Richard has held several C-level positions at Fortune 500 companies and has mentored start-up teams to first place in the California State College Bullring competition program. He has also been recognized by California State Senators for his outstanding service and has been given the "Keys to The City" from the Mayor of Beijing, among other prestigious honors.
Since 2018, Richard has been serving as Chief Diversity Officer at the Foundation, a position he took on in recognition of the critical need for equal opportunity, equity, and a level playing field. His unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the community has not only enhanced the organization's visibility, Richard has played a pivotal role in propelling Family First Foundation to new heights.
