Building trust between first responders and the communities they serve, since 2001. The program that started it all.
Most students in underserved communities see first responders only in emergency situations, moments of fear, not trust. City of Angels changes that equation. Through structured interactions with police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and community leaders, students build genuine relationships with the people who protect their neighborhoods. Trust replaces suspicion. Familiarity replaces fear.
City of Angels reflects our belief that opportunity begins with trust. Strong communities create the foundation on which opportunity pathways are built.
City of Angels is one of our longest-standing programs launched in 2001 to build trust between First Responders and underserved youth while creating safer communities where education and opportunity can thrive.
City of Angels brings first responders, police, firefighters, paramedics directly onto school campuses to foster dialogue, trust, and understanding.
By introducing students to the people behind the uniforms, we dismantle misconceptions, build civic literacy, and reinforce the social safety net that protects communities. These engagements are designed as structured conversations, not symbolic appearances
helping students understand both responsibility and service.
Community trust begins early.
