I'm Going to College
LA Future is grateful to have the support of several colleges.
Notably, we have proudly participated in UCLA's "I'm Going to College" events for over 15 years. During these events, our youth have the opportunity to meet university student ambassadors and athletes from various sports teams, robotics and engineering clubs, chess clubs, and journalism clubs. These ambassadors share their experiences,
college life, and fun adventures on campus,
inspiring our youth to pursue their academic goals.
Academic AllStar
LA FUTURE is a "TEAM" building program that provides access to middle/high school students to mini events, campus tours and meeting student ambassadors for special tours at major universities in settings of "Academic Excellence".
All attendees receive our proprietary 'How to be an Academic All-Star' step-by-step roadmap booklet which teaches kids that with passion, hard work, and commitment, everyone has the ability to be an academic all-star and acquire a college scholarship.
LA Future Impacts
Over 12,000 youths and families by providing them with:
- A glimpse of college life, through campus tours and festivals
- Motivational speakers from different backgrounds, including community leaders, athletes, entertainers, and artists, share their stories of overcoming challenges and achieving success through education.
- Fun and engaging family adventure and sports events where athletes provide valuable insights on the benefits of exercise and healthy habits. Highlighting how participation in sports and athletics can lead to improved academic performance, develop important life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and discipline.
- Parent engagement events and a range of resources to guide, and support families who are motivated to raise academically-oriented and high-achieving children.
Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does. It speaks to youth in a language they understand. Sport can create hope where once there was only despair.

We encourage attendees who otherwise couldn't afford such opportunities. We wish to give young people without means a fun and memorable experience, inspire them to envision life on a bigger scale, and experience what they otherwise couldn’t because of the high costs of these events.
