Founder's Note
Founded in the year 2000, Family First has discovered that sports can serve as a powerful gateway to mentoring and educational opportunities. Through our programs, we have touched the lives of many individuals and have been moved by the impact they have had on us as well. We extend our gratitude to our Board of Directors, volunteers, and staff who work tirelessly to make our vision a reality.
As our organization has evolved, we have broadened our program offerings to incorporate diverse engagement opportunities aimed at educating and promoting college education in a fun and engaging manner. Our early events demonstrated the profound influence that pro athletes and entertainers can have on young people, as almost all attendees pledged to attend college. Inspired by this observation, we sought to build on this momentum by inviting guest speakers to share their personal experiences and insights on the importance of education, dedication, teamwork, self-reliance, confidence, leadership, and respect. Encouraged by the enthusiastic feedback from parents, we remain steadfast in our commitment to our mission.
Join us in our quest to make a difference! Our outreach program, "E2C"(Elementary to Career), is our most ambitious initiative yet. Through this free advanced STEAM Education program, we aim to create a pathway for the future of America by offering support to high-achieving, less advantaged students.
