BRIAN TAYLOR - DIRECTOR OF SPORTS AND EDUCATION

 Brian Taylor has spent nearly four decades building educational systems, school cultures, leadership programs, and pathways to opportunity for young people. A Princeton alumnus and former ABA/NBA professional, Taylor's post-playing career has centered on education, access, and service.

He spent ten years at Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles in admissions, teaching, coaching, and administration before becoming a partner and principal with the Inner-City Education Foundation, helping grow it from a single founding school into a network of fifteen Los Angeles charter schools. At View Park Prep, he led a school culture that produced the highest middle-school math test scores in LAUSD among nearly 100 schools, according to Princeton Athletics. He later served as Headmaster of Teleos Preparatory Academy in Phoenix, providing stabilizing leadership after the school had experienced five headmasters in four years.

Taylor's relationship with Family First Foundation began in 2012, when he joined as a guest speaker for the Foundation's programs. That relationship grew into the partnerships that brought Family First students into the Rose Bowl, the LA Clippers, and the Dodgers, which led to Taylor joining the Foundation's board, and later to his current role as Director of Sports and Education, working with students and families across Southern California. He is also founder of the Brian Taylor Leadership Institute and creator of SOAL U, initiatives designed to expand student access to leadership development, college exposure, mentorship, and transformative educational environments.

Today, Taylor also serves as Vice President, Strategic Alliances and National Development at the Artificial Intelligence Institute, where he helps build national school, university, philanthropic, civic, and strategic relationships around responsible AI education. His work is guided by a simple principle: use the platform you have earned to open a door for someone else.
