Before becoming a STEM Ambassador, Alexzander Awni was a dedicated scholar within the Family First Foundation's youth programs and served as a liaison and mentor for younger students. Now, as a freshman at Penn State University majoring in Aerospace Engineering, he continues to give back to the community that supported his journey.
As a STEM Ambassador for the Family First Foundation, Alexzander channels his passion for science, technology, and community service into inspiring the next generation of innovators. He is also affiliated with the UCLA Space Institute, where he continues to advance his commitment to space exploration and cutting-edge research. Through his leadership and advocacy, Alexzander is dedicated to expanding access to STEM education and empowering youth from all backgrounds to "Dare Mighty Things."
A proud Eagle Scout and a former student leader at Crescenta Valley High School, Alexzander founded the Space Explorers Club, competed as a member of StellarXplorers, and served as the Physical Training Officer for CA-882 in the Air Force Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (AFJROTC). His continued commitment to leadership, service, and aerospace advancement defines his journey as both a student and a changemaker.
Alexzander's talent as a musician, particularly on the violin, is equally impressive. His performance of his symphony at the Premier Performance Invitational on March 2023, Carnegie Hall, New York City was a testament to his hard work and dedication. Beyond his academic and extracurricular pursuits, Alexzander's commitment to giving back to the community is remarkable. His work as a Community Outreach Director at Berkeley's Connect-in-Place program is just one example of his dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Alexzander Awni is an exceptional young man, and we are proud to have him as a part of the Family First Foundation. His dedication, passion, and commitment to helping others make him a true role model for youths everywhere.
